To add or embed a video in a press release, you should get the video url first. You are free to add product video, company video, or any other video to your press release. Video that contains adult, violence, drug or illegality content are not allowed.
Instruction
Following is an example of upload video from youtube.com
Method one:
* Copy the page URL of the video
For example:
The video page url is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rL66Vb6Mopo&feature=popular
you should delete the characters since “&feature”
So, the right url should be”http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rL66Vb6Mopo”
Another example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UBrq5EQIWyI&feature=channel
so, after deleting the characters the url should be”http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UBrq5EQIWyI”
Method two:
* Copy the source URL of the video
- Step 1 Found the url of the video
You should find the url of the video first. Click the “share” button under the video on Youtube. Then click the “embed” button, you need choose the end “use the old embed code” there will appear a paragraph of codes of the video.

- Step 2 Copy the code from the textbox to a .doc or txt. document.
- Step 3 Copy the source url of the video.
you can found the words src=”http://www.youtube.com/v/u4p500pyhj0?version=3&hl=zh_CN“. Just copy the url in the quotation mark.

- Step 4 Copy the Url to the submit page of your press release.

Ok, if you follow all the steps, then after you submitting your press you will see the video you saw on youtube.
For other videos from the other website:
You should copy the url of video to your Press release submitting page.
The url of the video refers to the flash url, not a page url.
Following is an example of upload video from other website.
- Step 1 Found the url of the video
- Step 2 Copy the code from the textbox to a .doc or txt. document.
- Step 3 Copy the source url of the video.
- Step 4 Copy the Url to the submit page of your press release.
