1. Buy Toddler Halloween Costumes that fit. Keep your kids safe by wearing toddler Halloween Costumes that fit as oppose to loose and baggy clothes. These garments can all be tripping hazards.
2. For protection of the older kids, a time line and expectation of when they will return home is a must. In addition to time line, learning their travel route would be very useful in figuring out where they will be at.
3. I take Halloween decorating passionately and safety needs to be incorporated. Make sure that sidewalks are clear of fire or trip hazards. When you acknowledge the safety of others, you are also making is safe for your family.
4. Toddler Halloween Costumes . Visibility is imperative. When your children are out there trick or treating in the neighborhood, be certain that they wear reflectors on their Halloween costumes.
5. Be alert for children running about, springing in and out between cars or even hanging out on your sidewalk between trick or treating. Be more cautious of the kids as safety rules can be gone from the fore thought.
6. Children's age need to be considered when you are carving pumpkins. Kids of the younger age should only draw what they would like carved and have an adult perform the carving. The amount of injuries would be significantly reduced.
7. Lit pumpkins shall be kept away from little beings. Keeping the lit pumpkin out of reach and on stable platform is a must.
8. Trick or treating in a big group is a good idea and as the guardian volunteer, all kids are required to pay attention and listen to you at all times.
9. Kids under the age of 12 should be accompanied by a responsible adult preferable a parent.
10. When purchasing candy to give out, try to get bigger treats to avoid choking hazards for small children. As a bonus, trick or treaters would be happy getting big candy.
