(Free-Press-Release.com) January 17, 2011 --
Orlando, FL - The Supermodel Project will chronicle the making of the first supermodel to emerge primarily using social media. One hundred potential models in Orlando will be selected to be followed through a ten month process to develop an unknown model into superstar talent -- all filmed for a docudrama of the same name.
Selected models will be provided with an online portfolio, video shoots, photo shoots and will compete for monthly cash prizes as well as a $10,000 grand prize. The winner will also be featured in a 2012 Super Bowl commercial to advertise the services of OMG Talent, the company that is sponsoring The Supermodel Project.
Social Networking on the internet has exploded and easily become the preferred way to stay in touch with old friends as well as make entirely new ones. It also has the unparalleled ability to help people network professionally, an aspect that is only beginning to be tapped.
The Supermodel Project is going to help one hundred aspiring models find a fan base via social networking sites such as Facebook, and leverage that popularity into a career dominated by glamorous photo shoots and exotic locales. In short, at least one participant will become a supermodel.
The entire journey will be filmed by a documentary film crew to showcase the models’ trials and tribulations during the process. At the end of the journey, audiences will not only be intimately familiar with the emerging supermodel, but the process that got him or her there.
