106 St Tire & Wheel’s Queens Blvd Location in Elmhurst to Host Free Car Care Seminar for Women

Queens, New York, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) October 27, 2011 -- 106 St Tire & Wheel, "Queens Premier Tire & Wheel Dealer," in collaboration with Bridgestone Tire, will be running a free, informational seminar for woman on car care and car maintenance at 7:30 PM on November 17, 2011. This event will take place at 106 St Tire & Wheels Queens Blvd location at 79-20 Queens Blvd, Elmhurst, 11373.

This event, held in conjunction with “Be Car Care Aware” educational campaign, is designed to better acquaint women with their vehicles maintenance needs. It’s also a part of 106 St Tire & Wheel’s growing community outreach and strategy in redefining the role of a woman friendly tire and wheel business.

106 St Tire & Wheel is a second generation family business thriving at 4 locations in Queens. It’s the only tire and wheel dealership in the NYC area to have a woman at the helm for decades. It has remained female friendly and now employees several women as it becomes an active force in the community sharing eco-friendly, green tips on driving, obtaining better gas mileage and safety related topics.

106 St Tire & Wheel has been the first tire and wheel dealership in the NYC area to offer customers a free down-loadable e-book filled with valuable information on lowering insurance premiums, increasing safety and environmentally friendly nitrogen fill available at all 106 St Tire & Wheel shops. 106 will also be posting its second free down-loadable book before the end of this year in its continuing effort to educate and support the drivers in Queens.

106 St Tire & Wheel, in keeping with its community minded policies, will be working with another business at its November 17th Car Care Seminar. Peace, Love and No Nuts, LLC, will be providing its allergy friendly refreshments. Two cupcake variations will be served. One is a gluten-free cupcake and the other is a vegan cupcake both of which are peanut-free, tree nut-free and dairy-free.

The November 17th event has free admission and each participant will be given free money saving coupons, a tire gauge, windshield washer fluid and other give aways. Parking is available and free.
