11-Year Old Youtube Singer – Penned “Bald & Beautiful Barbie” Facebook Theme Song--Now Raising Money for Pediatric Cancer

(Free-Press-Release.com) February 3, 2012 -- LOS ANGELES, CA (February 3, 2012) –After posting an original song, “Maybe I Can Change This World” on Youtube, 11-year old, singer/songwriter Miranda Finn was contacted by Jane Bingham, founder of the “Bald and Beautiful” Barbie facebook phenomenon and asked if her song could be used as their “theme song” to show young girls fighting cancer that bald can be beautiful. Miranda readily agreed and has been raising awareness of their cause. Now the tweenage singer/songwriter is raising money for pediatric cancer in honor of World Cancer Day on February 4th, 2012.

“Working with the ‘Bald & Beautiful” Barbie movement inspired me to want to raise money for cancer research for kids,” said Miranda. “We are giving all of the proceeds from my music downloaded this weekend to CureSearch which raises money for cancer research that affects kids,” said the budding singer.
Miranda has three original songs as well as the Bald & Beautiful Barbie theme song, “Maybe I Can Change this World” posted on her Youtube channel, wwyoutube.com/mirandafinn. Her music can be purchased through her facebook fan page at Miranda Finn Music. One hundred percent of the proceeds for this weekend, Feb 3-5, will be donated to CureSearch in honor of World Cancer Day.
