FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) January 18, 2012 --
“The new year offers new opportunities for success. It is also a good time to evaluate what works and what doesn’t, so I put together a list of 12 Rules to adopt for maximum success and wealth. This is an opportunity to establish new habits in bite size pieces--one for each month. Too much at the same time won’t work, but concentrating on one habit each month can down the line lead to a completely reinvented life and success system.“ Says the author of 16 bestselling books.
Here a first look at the simple Success manual for 2012:
1. Self Mastery:
You have to master yourself. There are lots of opportunities for fortunes to being made in today’s new economy, but you can’t be distracted by all the “noise” and negativity. You are in charge of your thoughts, actions and time. Make it count.
2. Habits & Rituals: People think there are some magic formulas to success. Not true. It’s all about the little things; the things you do every day that will make you successful--Just like eating right every day, moving your business forward every day, making success in some small habits and rituals.
3. Power of Language: What are you listening to? How do you speak to yourself? 95 percent of what we do is controlled by our subconscious.
Be aware of what you say to yourself such as “it’s easy”, “it’s hard”, and “I can’t” or “how can I?” Be very careful about how you speak to yourself.
4. Stop Setting Goals - Solve Problems
Goal setting is nice. But most people do not obtain their new years resolutions. Instead focus on positive activities and the solving or ridding yourself of challenges.
5. Productivity - Time / Energy Management
Everyone speaks about time management, but more important it’s about managing your energy and productivity, keeping your energy level high through clear thinking and using that energy for maximum productivity. It’s not about how much time you spend doing something; it’s about the result and maintaining your energy level on a high setting!
6. Small Action Consistently:
People think success is some big secret when in fact it is more straightforward than we’d like to admit.
Start with the end in mind and then walk backwards. Set a goal and map out which small action to do today and everyday to get there.
7. Analytical Skills: Not being distracted and analyzing what you focus your energy on is more important than ever. In this fast paced information age, we are bombarded 24/7 with information overload and you have to analyze who and what to pay attention to. Don’t let the world run you. You are the one behind the steering wheel, so make sure you stay in the seat!
8. Neural Enhancement:
What are you doing to increase your ability to think, analyze, perform and be productive? Your brain is a thousand times more powerful than any computer. What do you do to enhance it? Perhaps meditation, mental exercises, proper relaxation techniques, remaining clear through stress management techniques and proper diet… Your car needs maintenance and so do you.
9. Perfectionism:
Most people won’t start something new, whether it’s an investment or business, because of the fear of making a mistake.
Everything is a test; if you expect perfection you will be disappointed. You have to be willing to accept mistakes to achieve success. Perfectionism paralyzes. Laser
focused action and guts will catapult you to the next level.
10. Making Each Day Count:
Information, stress and time seem to be flying faster than ever. You need to breath, relax and focus on each moment, each day and each relationship. Pick your priorities and focus on them each day.
Make sure to focus on fulfillment, not tasks.
11. How to Evaluate Progress: We always focus on what’s wrong.
Celebrate what is right! Rejoice in minor victories every day-- personal and professional. Don’t just focus on quarterly and annual successes. Celebrate them daily, weekly and monthly.
12. Theory of Constraint: The true way to success is by removing constraints. We all have artificial constraints holding us back, such as time, money and focus. Open your mind and realize that most constraints are false. Now we can work internationally, quickly and interactively. Remove a false constraint that is holding your back form your life now.
