13.56 MHz RFID Reader Module Chip
Toronto, Canada – GAO Embedded (www.GAOEmbedded.com) has released this high performance 13.56 MHz HF RFID reader module chip suitable for reading smart tags. It is designed for integration into devices such as printers, terminals and handheld devices for applications such as ticketing systems and access control. It belongs to GAO’s RFID Embedded Modules family of products.
This high frequency RFID reader module chip, model 713001, operates at a frequency of 13.56 MHz and is certified by CE and FCC. It is compatible with ISO15693 transponders and other standard tags including I-CODE SLI and Tag-it HF-I. With high accurate identification ability, the RFID module offers a maximum read and write distance of up to 20 cm. The RFID reader module offers RS232, UART and RS485 interfaces for data communication. It operates over a temperature range of 0 °C to 60 °C and requires a 5 V DC power source with 80 mA in transmit mode and 70 mA in standby mode.
