15th International Erlang User Conference

(Free-Press-Release.com) October 6, 2009 -- Erlang users and other interested parties are invited to the Fifteenth International Erlang User Conference which will take place in Stockholm, on the 12th November 2009. The conference is aimed at:
* Applications developers using Erlang and OTP (Open Telecom Platform).
* Researchers and technology developers working with Erlang and OTP.
* People interested in the development and use of functional programming.
* People interested in the development of large scale industrial control systems.

The Erlang User Conference now has a new location and website. After many years, Bjarne Däcker and the Ericsson Erlang/OTP team have handed over the Conference logistics to Erlang Training and Consulting Ltd, following the successful Erlang Factory conferences in Palo Alto and London. Added to this is the move of the conference to larger premises away from Ericsson's Älvsjö site. In the past few years many interested delegates have had to be turned away due to space restrictions there.

The format of the User Conference however remains the same with a full day of talks from experts, the obfuscated Erlang competition followed by an Erlounge in the evening where there will be drinks and snacks.

In addition to the conference itself, there will be three-day Erlang training courses from 9th to 11th November and a day of Erlang and Test-Driven Development Tutorials on the 13th.
