1986 Proof American Eagle

This silver eagle contains 1 ounce of pure silver with a face value of $1. United States Mint have captured the artistry of engraver Adolph A. Weinman's with a Walking Liberty design. The obverse of this 1986 Silver Dollar features Lady Liberty striding toward the sunrise, draped in the strength of the Stars and Stripes carrying in her arms branches symbolizing civil and military glory.

The reverse design features an eagle with shield, and olive branch in the right talon and arrows in the left. This design was captured by United States Mint sculptor John Mercanti.
US government started producing 1oz silver eagles in 1986, in uncirculated and proof condition.
