1st Monthly Free Music Industry Network Party a Hit w Money-B, LazieBones, SMOOV & others

Inland Empire, California, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) March 18, 2011 -- March launched the 1st music industry network party produced by Money-B of Digital Underground and Dennis Blaze at Toro Sushi Bar in Ontario, Ca.-“Way Back Wednesdays”.

Packed with radio personalities, producers, managers and artists such as Cleetis Mack-Director, Ras Kass-Rapper, Badd Ass- Rapper (Snoop Dogg/DPG) , Suave-Artist, Dennis Blaze-DJ/Remixer, DJ Icy Ice-World Famous Beat Junkes & Power 106, R&B Singer “SMOOV” and featured guest LayzieBone of Bones Thugs & Harmony, upcoming artists and fans had an opportunity to meet, mingle, party and perhaps even collaborate on various projects.

"Way Back Wednesdays" attended by major music industry power players are presently scheduled for the 2nd Wednesday of every month and are Free to the public. The purpose.."to bring back some of the old school major artists that have paved the way of what hiphop is today, saids Money-B. "..we'll take you to the golden age of hiphop. Before crunk, there was fly. Before hyphy, there was hype. Before epic, there was fresh. We love new music, but nothing moves our soul like a good throwback jam and as 2Pac said.. ain't nuthin' like the ol skool"

Ron Brooks better known by his stage name Money-B, is a rapper best known for being a member of the funk and rap group Digital Underground that was considered a music "family" rather than a group. Popularity grew by their song "The Humpty Dance" in 1990. Digital Underground toured nearly every year up until 2008 in Europe, Japan, Canada, Australia and the U.S. And while various characters and voices from around the U.S. appeared on the band's albums, Money-B along with Shock G were the only individuals to appear on every album.

Money-B was also a member of Raw Fuson with DJ Fuze whom they had two albums, "Live From the Styleetron" and "Hoochified Funk." He had a solo album named Talkin' Dirty which features Digital Underground in 1999.


Today, Money-B is actively involved in music as the on-air personality and host for the "Goin Way Back Show With Money-B". His show can be heard on over 100 internet stations throughout the week. The shows can also be streamed and downloaded by going to http://moneyb69.podomatic.com/.


In addition, fans can anticipate his various new cd releases, solos and groups (M*A*S*K, the K.N.N.) featuring songs such as "Make The Sound," and "Is U Down" with artists such as Ne-Yo, DJ Premier, and Rhymefest (wrote Jesus Walks).
