Digital download has inevitably shifted today’s business models in the game industry. Small yet quality games are made available on stores through digital distribution for customers of all territories resulting in wide product exposure. It is interesting to note that the download platform has become a viable alternative distribution channel for small to medium size developers across the world including Ringzero. Possessing strong experience in educational games for children, Ringzero has made available a music game for kids, “My First Songs”, on iTunes. Comprised of 15 all time favorite nursery rhymes such as Old Macdonald, She’ll be coming around the mountain, Hickory Dickory Dock, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, and Mary had a little lamb, My First Songs is a great music and rhythm game for iPad and iPhone with fun graphics that brighten the children’s world. Also coming is a digital blast tower defense game, “Core Blaster”, adding a few new twists as well as employing color theory into the game. It is an innovatively challenging strategic gem scheduled to be released in December for real-time strategy gamers in Europe. “My First Songs and Core Blaster will round out a successful 2010 and we believe that 2011 is going to be even better.
