2 Years at OSE for Rob Cornell

(Free-Press-Release.com) January 26, 2012 -- Over 2 years ago Robert Cornell started out at OSE as a young apprentice having secured the position through the ITEC apprenticeship group. Robert was the first apprentice taken on by OSE, however since then OSE have enjoyed a very successful relationship with the ITEC group.
OSE, a North East based Transport and Logistics Company with international coverage, place considerable importance on employing local talent and giving back to the community. OSE continue to employ apprentices looking to start a career in an exciting working environment.

Since starting in the autumn of 2009, Robert has developed and progressed in his role to become an integral part of the OSE team. He is now a senior operations executive, and this position includes the responsibility to be on call 24 hours a day on certain days.
On passing the landmark 2 years of service, Robert said,
“The last 2 years have flown by and I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here. I started at OSE when I was 19 and I had little idea about what I wanted to do with my career, I also had only a small knowledge of the transport and logistics industry. I was really nervous on my first day here but everybody has been really friendly and this helped me to grow in confidence, I now try to help new starters by sharing my experiences.”
