World Relief will be celebrating Fourth of July with approximately 200 new refugees in South Jacksonville Beach.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) July 4, 2010 --
World Relief will welcome about 600 refugees this year. Every Independence Day, they rent school buses and take refugees on a field trip to the beach to celebrate America. Before and after their trip, the refugees learn what Independence Day means and why we celebrate it. They will enjoy American snacks such as watermelon, activities such as soccer -or according to them "football" and of course, fireworks! This year World Relief is anticipating approximately 200 refugees to attend the celebration, plus staff and volunteers.
