2009 Canadian New Media Awards “Call for Entries” Now Open

(Free-Press-Release.com) September 15, 2009 -- (September 3, 2009 - Toronto, ON) “The envelope please” may be the universal awards buzzphrase. But the Canadian New Media Awards is uniquely on the lookout for people who’ve pushed the envelope.

The CNMA today announced a call for entries for the 2009 competition and has unveiled the updated and re-energized categories for this season of the competition.

The Awards are a true national initiative. Companies and individuals across Canada submit the names of friends, colleagues or themselves for recognition of outstanding achievements in the design, development or implementation of new media projects.

This year, the Canadian New Media Awards will take place during nextMEDIA , and submissions will be accepted online on the nextMEDIA website

until October 2nd , 2009, with an early bird rate of $125 + GST per entry granted to those submitted prior to September 18h, 2009 (Regular rate of $175 + GST for the final deadline of October 2, 2009).

The Canadian New Media Awards (CNMA) were established in 1999 to promote and celebrate excellence within the digital interactive industry.
