2009 Chick Fil A Bowl parade

Miss Atlanta 2010, Laura Stone and Jr. Miss Atlanta 2010, Emma Kate Few, will ride in the Chick Fil A Bowl parade on Dec. 31,2010. Emily Cook, Miss Georgia 2009, and the famous Chick Fil A cow will be leading the parade route as well as the cheerleaders from both participating schools. The Virginia Tech marching band and the University of Tennessee marching band. Other particpants will include the Boy Scouts of Atlanta, several dance troops and cheerleading squads from across the state of Georgia as well as high school marching bands from the Atlanta area! Several floats will feature various themes representing Georgia themes. This years Chick Fil A Bowl parade is planned for Thursday, December 31 at 12:30pm. The route for this years Chick Fil A Bowl parade begins at the intersection of Ralph McGill BLvd. and Peachtree Street traveling south down Peachtree Street turning west onto Harris Street and passing in fornt of Centennial Olympic Park west onto Andrew Young International Blvd. finishing at the Georgia World Congress Center. This years Chick Fil A Bowl features Virginia Tech and Tennessee.
