(Free-Press-Release.com) August 28, 2009 --
Los Angeles, California - Michael Creagh was awarded in the 2009 International Photography Awards Competition. His entry "Noise" received an Honorable Mention in Advertising - Fashion category. The image was originally photographed as part for a cover story for Noise Magazine. This is the second time Creagh has been awarded by the IPA. Last year, his entry "Air" for the Susana Monaco Campaign also received an Honorable Mention.
Michael Creagh is a New York fashion photographer shooting editorial and commercial work. Creagh’s award winning journey began while living a vagabond’s life in France and Italy: just walking around taking pictures of everything he saw. In London, he began shooting portraits, and in New York, fashion. His photo
series have appeared for such clients as MTV, Ecko, Microsoft, Samsung, Sony Music, Warner Bros Music, McDonalds, Disney, W, Elle, Hamptons, NY Post Page 6 Magazine, Bill Blass, Joseph Abboud, Cacharel, Susana Monaco, McCann Erickson, Leo Burnett, Ogilvy and Mather, Fashion Institute of Technology, and Vidal Sassoon.
Creagh has been recognized by many international juries and press; including the International Photo Awards 2008, the Black and White Awards in London 2008, and PX3 Prix de la Photographie Awards in Paris 2008. With press from China to Eastern Europe to Latin America, Michael’s work is internationally acclaimed. Most recently, his 10 page cover story and interview in The May 2009 edition of Digital PhotoPro Magazine could be found on nearly every magazine stand
in America.
