The Palos Verdes Peninsula Chamber of Commerce and Palos Verdes Sunset Rotary Club invite the public to honor four outstanding businesses, one non-profit organization and a community leader for their achievements, at the 2010 “Salute to Business” Awar

(Free-Press-Release.com) January 10, 2011 -- The Palos Verdes Peninsula Chamber of Commerce and Palos Verdes Sunset Rotary Club invite the public to honor four outstanding businesses, one non-profit organization and a community leader for their achievements, at the 2010 “Salute to Business” Awards dinner to be held Thursday, February 3, 2011, 6:00pm at Trump National Golf Club in Rancho Palos Verdes.

Nominees were evaluated on the criteria of customer service, value/quality of merchandise, community outreach and involvement, products/services offered, ambience, and their contribution to the quality of life. The entire community is invited to recognize the following businesses, which were chosen as “the best” in their respective categories:

Best Retail/Service Business: Terranea Resort , Rancho Palos Verdes
Best Restaurant/Art/Entertainment: Ortega 120 , Redondo Beach
Best Professional Business: Bennett Landscape , Harbor City
Best New Business: iBerries Frozen Yogurt , Rolling Hills Estates
Best Non-Profit Organization: Freedom4U , Palos Verdes Estates

The distinguished Matt Brunning Business Excellence Award will be presented to Robert Medawar of Medawar Fine Jewelers , for his business leadership, community outreach and contribution to the overall quality of life on the Peninsula.

Exciting and unique auction items will be offered during a pre-dinner cocktail reception. The dinner and awards ceremony will include the installation of the Chamber’s 2011 Officers and Board of Directors.

Business associates, friends and family will have the opportunity to include messages of congratulations to the honorees. This is an ideal way, whether or not you are able to attend the event, to express your appreciation.

Tickets are $95 each on or before Jan. 15 ($110 after).

A table for 10 is $950 ($1,100 after).

“Premier Tables” of 10 are available for $1,500 including a complimentary ad at the event, preferred seating, table signage and unlimited wine for guests at the table.
