FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) July 21, 2010 --
Although the 2010 Hyundai Veracruz and the Toyota Limited are two supremely well made vehicles, the Veracruz offers a few more advantages that make it the better choice. With the Veracruz Limited you will have more available options, more power, and a better warranty.
I would first like to mention that both vehicles come with the latest safety features including a traction control system, occupant classification system, six airbags, and active front head restraints. With the best safety features available you can truly have a care free ride.
When comparing key features the 2010 Veracruz comes with loads more standard features that are either not available on the Highlander or come as options, earning it a few extra points in this comparison. Included in this list is a third row bench seat, power tailgate, memory adjustable exterior mirrors, roof rack, delayed power retention center, temperature-controlled center console storage, satellite radio, subwoofer, and a front power memory seat. With all these extra features the Veracruz wins hands down in the luxury department.
The 2010 Veracruz has a larger engine than the Highlander although this does mean slightly better gas mileage for the Toyota the smaller engine of the Highlander will encounter more stress and may not have the longevity of the 2010 Hyundai Veracruz. With the larger engine the Veracruz offers much greater towing and acceleration.
Hyundai has long been known for offering the best warranties and 2010 is no different. The Veracruz Limited warranty is in a league of its own when comparing in to any warranty out there. For the sake of comparison we’ll see how the 2010 Toyota Highlander’s warranty stakes up. The Veracruz offers five year 60,000 mile bumper to bumper protection whereas the Highlander offers three year 36,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty. The Veracruz offers an impressive 10 year 100,000 mile powertrain warranty compared to Toyota’s 5year 60,000 warranty. Hyundai offers two more years in its seven year corrosion perforation warranty Toyota having a 5 year corrosion perforation warranty.
Although the Hyundai Veracruz Limited and the Highlander are two top class crossover utility vehicles the Veracruz is the better choice. The Veracruz comes with more standard and optional features, more power, and a better warranty putting it a step ahead of the Toyota Highlander Limited.
