FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Los Angeles, California, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) January 4, 2011 --
This year’s honored participants represent 10 states and the territory of American Samoa. During the 4-day period, the athletes will experience a welcome banquet at the host hotel, media day, Universal Studios trip, live devotion with recording artist - the Katinas, special guest speaker Junior Seau, hands on coaching with NFL and Collegiate legends, training instruction from Uproz, and media coverage from Scout.com, and local newspaper and television networks.

Bowl game practices will be held at Long Beach Veteran’s Stadium on January 12, 13, and 14. Game day will be held at Cathedral High School’s state of the art sports complex Balzano Field. Come and see tomorrows stars today as they display why many of them have committed to their respective schools from the SEC, Pac-12, Big 12, WAC, and Mountain West Conferences. This is a critical time for all college bound athletes as they will be signing their letters of intent during the first week of February.

The AIGA Foundation is a Faith Based non-profit 501(c) 3 organization dedicated to assisting student-athletes in their pursuit for academic and athletic excellence. AIGA has assisted numerous student-athletes from across the United States (mainland), Hawaii, Australia, New Zealand and American Samoa in acquiring athletic scholarships and/or providing opportunity to sports affiliated careers and roles in movie and commercial entertainment. Our staff consists of former professional and collegiate student-athletes who understand the process and the importance of preparing yourself to succeed. The network and relationships we’ve attained over the years is the core of keeping the transition period from high school to college going.

AIGA understands the importance of academics and the role it plays in future employment and business opportunities. AIGA is here to bridge the gap to opportunity for student-athletes who are willing to work hard for it.

The AIGA Foundation originated from several local athetes from Carson. CA. They believed they could make a difference in their local community by mentoring student-athletes and gearing them for the game of life. The name 'aiga, which means family in the Samoan language, is the type of atmosphere we wanted to create in every program and event we organize. As our family grows so does our mission to influence communities worldwide.
