2012 Ford Explorer Now Available at Cambridge Classic Ford near Zanesville

The standard engine on the SUV is a 3.5-liter V6, producing 290 horsepower and 255 pound-feet of torque. While front-wheel drive is standard on the 2012 Explorer, four wheel drive is optional on all models and includes hill descent control, hill start assist, and Ford’s Terrain Management System.

Consumers will immediately love the Explorer’s combination of SUV hauling capabilities and carlike driving. This more refined driving is a result of Ford replacing the previous truck-based body-on-frame with a carlike unibody chassis in the 2011 redesign. The SUV also seats up to seven passengers and offers plenty of cargo space, making the Explorer an ideal vehicle for hauling both people and things.
