Since 2011, the NHTSA has introduced more stringent testing procedures such as a new 20 mile per hour side-impact crash into a 10-inch diameter pole or tree at 75-degree angle near the driver’s side. As testing gets harder and harder, Cadillac is committed to delivering cars that can help to ensure the safety of their drivers.

To achieve such high ratings on the NHTSA’s scale, the Cadillac SRX and CTS were tested on frontal, side, and rollover crash tests. According to Cadillac’s website, the “SRX and CTS sedan and wagon are designed to help drivers avoid crashes, while protecting occupants in the event a crash occurs.”
