2012 Train Them Up for Success Scholarship Contest for Aspiring African American High School Students Majoring in Entrepreneurship and/or Engineering

Calling all high school seniors in North Carolina to apply for the 2012 TTUS College Scholarship. The deadline to apply is April 12, 2012. You can download a application and flyers from our website.

(Free-Press-Release.com) February 16, 2012 -- Train Them Up for Success has a history of helping students of all genders, race, ethnicities,
and academic abilities be successful. The 2012 Scholarship Contest is for African American
students interested in entrepreneurship and engineering. The inspiration comes from the late
Burton Bradford, an African American who grew up on farm in Mississippi and rose to become
leading transportation business owner in Chicago. His combined skills in finance and

mechanical/electrical engineering prepared him to thrive in a competitive market from the
1960s through the 1980s. His legacy of determination, self-reliance, and a strong work ethic

information. What’s unique about this scholarship contest?

 Students will use multiple learning styles (visual, audio, and more).
 Applicants get to use their creativity by submitting a video and a short essay
 There is no GPA requirement but transcripts are required along with letters of support

 Our judges include recent college graduates working in engineering & business
