The Shayler Foundation is proud to announce the addition of key note speakers to our International Women’s Day Exhibit and Lecture, being hosted at The Crescent Arts Centre in Belfast. Our roster is now complete with artist Ariel Killick, Maura Favretto and feminist writer Kellie Turtle. Speakers during the lecture will honour the experiences and lives of women internationally, as well as their struggles to realise their basic human rights.
The International Women’s Day Exhibit and Lecture is taking place on 24 March 2012 in Belfast, and is being held in celebration of women’s human rights and motherhood. The event will benefit The Shayler Foundation’s Uganda: Survivor’s Initiative Programme.

“I am organizing this art exhibit in an effort to raise needed funds for Uganda: Survivor’s Initiative’s Safe Birthing Project. The mission to help women in developing countries prevent avoidable medical complications during pregnancy, and aid with the delivery of a healthy baby goes a long way to set both mother and baby on a healthier path”, said Aubrey Shayler, CEO of The Shayler Foundation.
