3rd annual JWC Charity Golf Tournament will be hosted b Jr. Women’s Club

Atlanta, Georgia, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) February 24, 2012 -- On March 24, Jr. Women’s Club will host the 3rd annual JWC Charity Golf Tournament at the Canyon Lake Country Club. Watching this game will be costed by 100SUD.

Registration will begin at 11 a.m., followed by a putting contest and a shotgun start at 1. The event will end with a banquet dinner, drawing and live auction. Included in the day’s activities are a chance to win a golf cart with a hole-in-one contest, a longest drive contest, closest-to-the-pin contest and more.

History of JWC Charity Golf Tournament:

Men’s Golf Club

The Men’s Golf Club is taking signups for the Member/Member Partners Best Ball Tournament and the SCGA 4-Ball Championship Tournament, scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, March 17 and 18. There are no handicap restrictions for the Member/Member Tournament, with an established handicap based on March 1, 2012.
For the SCGA 4-Ball Championship Tournament, players must have a handicap of 18.4 or less based on their March 1 index. Players must be 18 years of age and have an established SCGA handicap index by March 1.
Saturday tee time is 8 a.m. There will be a shotgun start on Sunday morning. The entry fee is $30 per person, which includes lunch at the Country Club on Sunday. Green fees and cart fees are not included. Sign up at the Pro Shop or call Bruce Yarbrough at 244-8753.

The Men’s Golf Club is a member of the Southern California Golf Association (SCGA) and holds regular open meetings the first Wednesday of each month in the Magnolia Room at the Country Club. For membership information, contact Brad Schmidt, 264-9089.
Family Golf Club
The Family Golf Club is a member of the Southern California Golf Association (SCGA). It holds open meetings the third Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the Magnolia Room at the Country Club. Members play Wednesday afternoons. Applications for the Family Golf Club are available at clfamilygolf.com or contact Jim Brown at 741-8080.
Women’s Golf Club

The Women’s Golf Club meets regularly on Tuesdays to play 18 holes of golf. CLWGC is a member of the Women’s Southern California Golf Association, responsible for handicapping services for members. 9ers Golf Club
The 9ers Golf Club plays nine holes on Thursday mornings. For information, Call Martha Golia at 246-2099 or Terri Murphy at 244-4030.
Senior Men’s Nine-holers
