MATCHING HEARTS AND PAWS!

January 25, 2010, San Diego, California. – With Valentine’s Day approaching and puppy love in the air, Camp Bow Wow will once again act as matchmaker for humans seeking their furry, four-pawed soul mates.

On Feb. 6, Camp Bow Wow, El Cajon, will host our 3rd Annual “Pawsitively Yours” adoption event to help people and pups looking to make a love match. The event, which is open to the public, will also raise awareness of the importance of adoption from local rescues and shelters.

“This is a wonderful, heartwarming event that we are fortunate to host each year at Camp. Each pup adopted will receive a goodie bag filled with lots of great starter gifts from both My Paws Gift Baskets and Camp Bow Wow, El Cajon.” said Camp Bow Wow owner Connie Garrett.

Adoptable dogs from Labradors & Friends, Chihuahua Rescue of San Diego, San Diego Spaniel, The Barking Lot, Friends of Humane Society of TJ, Leonberger Rescue and FOCAS will attend the event with adoptable pups in hopes of finding their forever homes and putting a cute face on the good work done by these organizations.

Camp Bow Wow El Cajon’s event will also feature tours of Camp as well as a 30-minute free seminar and book signing by Joel Silverman, host of Animal Planet’s “GOOD DOG U” and author of “What Color Is Your Dog”.

The event will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Camp Bow Wow’s El Cajon location at 1677 N. Marshall Avenue, Suite A, El Cajon, CA. The event is open to the public, and the media is welcome to attend.
