I highly recommend this vendor and this little external sound adapter. While traveling I broke the headphone jack that's on the right side of my Inspiron E1705. The speakers couldn't switch on because the broken jack was still in the headphone "plug" mode. I didn't have time to check into repairs but I was creating a DVD and I needed the sound back quick. So I ordered this inexpensive USB sound card and prayed for the best. It arrived right on time, the same day I got home, and worked perfectly the minute I plugged it in - no drivers needed!
