PALO ALTO, CA – August 25, 2009 – Nina Price, Business and Wellness Coach today announced an upcoming Teleseminar Series called 5 Strategies For Staying Employed in Today’s Economy. Price will interview four thought leaders on topics which relate to the 5 Strategies she’s written about in her upcoming book of the same name. The series will take place at 9 a.m. Pacific time during the week of September 14th with a different interview each day.
On Monday September 14th Price will interview Martin Yate author of the New York Times best selling Knock-em Dead books on job search and career management. Yate will share insights on succeeding with job interviews in today’s job market and new ways of looking at careers over age 40.
Social Networking expert Nancy Marmolejo will be Price’s guest on Tuesday September 15th. Marmolejo will focus on “soft selling with social media” she’ll explain how to turn everyday conversations into lucrative opportunities and outline the most important things everyone needs to know for social media success.
Joseph Rosenfeld a San Jose image consultant will be Price’s guest on Wednesday September 16th. Rosenfeld is the only male Certified Image Professional in North America. He helps executives and professionals to develop more effective visual brands. Rosenfeld will offer insights on how to rev up your image to get hired, promoted, or keep your job.
The Inner Confidence Coach Sandy Goodwin will be Price’s guest on Thursday September 17th. Goodwin is the author of I Think, Therefore I Doubt – 12 Key Principles to Build Self-Confidence and Self-Trust. She will discuss building confidence in changing times.
Price herself will be the final speaker on Friday September 18th. She will offer practical advice on how to "push the reset button" on your health and your career: to reduce stress and increase your value, while facing the job, home, and health challenges that come with "middle age".
The 5 Strategies offer hope and practical insights for people over 40 who are “between jobs, underemployed or hanging on to their jobs by their fingernails,” says Price. The book focuses on what’s really happening to people over 40 in today’s workplace. It’s not just the economy that’s making life a challenge for people over 40. Ageism in layoffs and hiring decisions is also creating significant problems for people over 40. Getting rehired today is in part about defying ageist stereotypes and understanding how to do so.
