50 Bands for 2010 Blessings Music Fest will depend on fundraiser in April

(Free-Press-Release.com) December 6, 2009 -- The 9th Annual Blessings Music Fest is dated for Aug 20 & 21, 2010 at Black River Landings in Lorain, Ohio near Cleveland. The concert is slated to host 50 bands from Ohio and the regional area. Music, Food, Games, Vendors, Educational Workshops, Puppetry and a Jazz Poetry Cafe. The Music Fest will cost a minimum of $15k for one day and about $25k for two days. There is usually a $5k deposit before sponsors decide to come on board. The entire festival grounds at Black River Landings can hold over 100,000 people.

On April 24th 2010 there will be a fundraising concert to raise money to jumpstart the Music Fest. The concert will feature the 5 top bands that were chosen by the audience members from 2005 to 2009 of the Blessings Music Fest. The featured bands are: 2005 Emmanuelle Praise - 2006 Catalyst - 2007 Progeny 5129 - 2008 End Time Worship - 2009 Exit 41 Not only will the bands play in full concert from 6-10pm but they have also asked for tickets to sell. The fundraising concert will be held at the Lorain County Community College's Stocker Center in Elyria, Ohio. During the Blessings Music Fest we collect food cans for the hungry and proceeds go to four organizations:1)Salvation Army 2)LCFood Cupboard 3) Catholic Charities 4) Neighborhood House and 5) Heartbeat Pregnancy Center.
