7 Marketing, Inc. ends 2011 with continued growth

Organizational News
Direct Energy visited the 7 Marketing team this month. Assistant manager, Xavier Otero, says client visits give team members a chance to ask questions. “The more we know about our clients, the better we can serve them,” he says.

Newly promoted manager, Josh Burke, opened his office this month in Cincinnati, Ohio. Burke began with the organization in Hartford, Conn. as an account executive. The Philadelphia office plans to send a team to visit the Cincinnati crew in January.

In December, employees had two opportunities to travel. Teams visited both North New Jersey and New York City offices.

Promotions and Recognition
Account executives Zach Chapman, Patricia Andrews, and Brad Ford were all promoted to corporate trainers this month. Andrews and Ford were given special recognition for their performance. Each completed their entry level requirements in under seven days. Chapman was named December’s top-performing new hire by the management team.

Each week team members are given an opportunity to recognize their peers for outstanding leadership and performance by voting for a “Leader of Week.” This month’s top-performing corporate trainers were Jim Moran, Uriah Dunn, Joe Sperlak, and Kristin Smith. Management then named Uriah Dunn Leader of the Month.

Special Events
The entire organization met in New York City for a leadership conference before the holidays. Members of the management team from 7 Marketing were invited to speak to leaders from various offices on topics including team building and training.

Afterwards, the entire organization was treated to a holiday party XVI Lounge, a rooftop bar Manhattan.
