7th Health Asia 2011 – Yet again another Year of Great Ideas, Tracked Goals, Trends & Transitions

(Free-Press-Release.com) March 25, 2011 -- Karachi – Thursday March 24, 2011: 7th Health Asia 2011 Int’l Exhibition & Conference successfully concluded at Karachi Expo Centre. The Event was inaugurated by Sindh Minister for Health Dr. Sagheer Ahmed. Secretary Health Syed Hashim Raza Zaidi, President Ecommerce Gateway Dr. Khursheed Nizam and others were also present at the occasion.

Around 70 foreign delegates from 20 countries including China, Taiwan, India, UAE and more participated whereas more than 35,000 trade/corporate visitors attended the Event during the 3 days.

Dignitaries other than the Chief Guest visited the Event include Sindh Minister for Industries & Commerce, Abdur Rauf Siddiqui; Minister for Environment & Alternate Energy, Sheikh Muhammad Afzal; Consul General of Srilanka, D.W. Sindh Health Department had also established its pavilion in the Exhibition for the purpose of creating awareness among the visitors regarding different diseases; their causes; symptoms; diagnosis; treatment as well as their prevention. “Prevention is better than cure” was the prime focus of Sindh Health Department.

The 2nd day of the Exhibition comprised of International Conference on “Quality in Healthcare” encompassing different topics. Professor Dr. Masood Hameed Khan, VC, Dow University of Health Sciences, Haroon Qassim, Chairman, PPMA, Dr. Sarmad Maqbool, Director Marketing and Strategy, Abbot, Dr. Murad M. Khan, Professor and Chairman, Deptt. of Psychiatry, Aga Khan University, Dr. Zsuzsanna Fajcsak, Alive International, Malaysia, Dr. Khursheed Nizam, President Ecommerce Gateway, and Dr. Zakiuddin Ahmed, Project Director, Health Asia were present at the Ribbon Cutting and Inauguration of the Health Asia Conference.

The Conference held on 3rd day encompassed the topic “Recent Advances in Dermatology” in which renowned dermatologists of Pakistan, Dr. Najia Ashraf and Dr. Sameera participated and discussed on the common issues like Acne, Eczema and Hyper pigmentation.
