The idea to create this website seems to be popped out of nowhere. One Summer evening my son and I were returning back home after visiting his grandma. Ben was looking out of car window and noticed all kind of ads on billboards, trucks and buildings . At one point he looked at the moon and asked, "Is there a way to post things on the Moon? I would make a million of dollars doing it. And then I would buy lots of Pokémon cards, new bike and go to Disney World next year. " I were just playing along and asked, "What would you post on the moon?" Ben answered, "Just about anything people would want to." I started saying, "Well, there is...." And then I stopped and started thinking more about it. This is not totally impossible. Adopting this idea to cyberspace will do the magic trick! And it's going to be even better - cyber moon always will remain visible on computer screens, not depending on atmospheric conditions and you don't need powerful telescope to zoom in. Now combined power of computer technology, Internet and advanced imaging allowed to do what was impossible in the past. Ben got very excited about virtual version of his idea and employed me :) as his tech and admin staff to help him on this project.
Now anyone can submit image for posting (in JPEG file format, with URL or without one) through this site to be pasted on or superimposed on the image of real Moon.
