9th ITCN Asia 2009- the Biggest IT & Telecom extravaganza of Pakistan ended up successfully

(Free-Press-Release.com) August 15, 2009 -- 9th ITCN Asia 2009- the Biggest IT & Telecom extravaganza of Pakistan ended up successfully on August 13, 2009 at Karachi Expo Centre.

The Event was started with the unique & colorful “Multiple Ribbon Cutting” by Hon’ble Naguibullah Malik, Federal Secretary at IT & Telecom. Dr. Khursheed Nizam, President, Ecommerce Gateway, Walid Irshaid, President & CEO, PTCL, Muhamad Sadiq, CEO, Wi-Tribe Pakistan, Dr. Muhammad Yaseen, Chairman, PTA, Usman Sheikh, MD & COO, KHL, Parvez Iftikhar, CEO, Universal Service Fund Pakistan, Raheel Kamal, Senior Director, Global Business Development, Qualcomm Inc. USA, Sikandar Naqi, SEVP, PTCL were present at the Inaugural Ceremony. Other Foreign Delegates also accompanied the Chief Guest.

The Official Launch of “Sindh IT Department” also took place at the Sindh IT Department Pavilion. Sindh IT Minister was the Chief Host of the Ribbon Cutting, while, City Naib Nazim, Mrs. Nasreen Jalil was the Chief Guest at the occasion. Secretary IT Sindh, Rauf Akhtar Farooqui and President, Ecommerce Gateway, Dr. Khursheed Nizam were also present.

In three days, approximately 42,000 Trade / Corporate Visitors turned out to attend the Exhibition, which shows a significant achievement. There were four well-attended ITCN Asia Conferences “9th Int’l Conference on Telecom”, “9th Int’l Conference on Information Technology”, “Int’l Conference on eMarketing”, “Int’l Conference on Enterprise Resource Planning” which were indeed successful. A seminar on “Business Opportunities in Ras Al Khaimah Free Trade Zone” was also held and a number of businessmen attended the seminar.

9th ITCN Asia 2009 was organized in 3 Halls; where over 130 exhibitors from more than 15 countries participated. The Event was attended by more than 117 foreign delegates from Canada, China, France, Finland, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Netherlands, Russia, Singapore, Taiwan, UAE, U.K., USA and many more.

The dates for 10th ITCN Asia 2010 – Int’l Exhibition & Conferences have been announced from 03-05 August 2010.
