A Breeders' Cup Trifecta for Pedigree Consultants clients

Lexington, Kentucky, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) November 8, 2010 -- Pedigree Consultants LLC, a thoroughbred pedigree consultancy based in Lexington Kentucky had a red letter day at the Breeders Cup meeting on Saturday with their clients producing three of the winners on the Breeders Cup card.

Leading the charge was the European wonder-mare Goldikova who made it a three-peat in the TVG Breeders' Cup Mile (Gr.1) for the brothers Alain and Gerard Wertheimer. Alan Porter of Pedigree Consultants has been working with Wertheimer et Frere for the better part of a decade and considers this mare the best horse he has been involved with.

"I have been honored to be part of the team at Wertheimer et Frere in helping them come to their mating decisions for their program each year. Their manager Pierre Yves-Bureau and the whole team at Wertheimer et Frere to a great job with the horses they raise and to be involved in such a great mare as Goldikova is indeed a thrill," Porter said.

The Emirates Airline Breeders' Cup Turf (Gr.1) gave a 1-2 finish for Pedigree Consultants clients with Dangerous Midge, a recommended mating for Tony Holmes & Dr. Walter Zent beating out Champ Pegasus, a recommended mating for Diamond A Farm. Earlier in the day the Breeders' Cup Turf Sprint (Gr.2) saw Chamberlain Bridge, whose dam was a recommended purchase for client Eugene Melnyk carrying this horse, winning the race with Eugene Melnyk also having homebred Bridgetown finish a gallant 4th in the race.

"It was great to see our clients have such a successful Breeders' Cup day. We also had a hand in the mating of this years Melbourne Cup (Gr.1) winner Americain so it has been quite a start to the month of November!," Porter added.
