Giant Lanterns, each representing stories from Truro’s past, will be paraded through the streets. And this year, as a first, five ‘Rarey Boxes’, inspired by 18th century cabinets of curiosities, will join the parade adding extra intrigue and excitement to this extraordinary event.

About the Festival:
This year music and dance are taking a more innovative and theatrical twist at the Festival. Five newly-created ‘Rarey Boxes' - an idea dating back to the 18th Century - have been revived to entertain and delight the crowds alongside the dramatic large lanterns that will be carried through Truro's streets.

Entertainment commences from 5.45pm and finishes at 8.45pm.
