A Dickinson man 45 year old died when he met an accident with the semi on Highway 85.

A 45-year-old Dickinson man died early Sunday morning after the Blazer he was driving on Highway 85 crossed into the path of a semi.
The accident occurred at about 3 a.m., about 15 miles north of Belfield, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
The semi was driven by 49-year-old Verland Erickson, Belgrade, Mont. He was not injured.
The Dickinson man’s name has not been released.
Note:-
Distracted driving accidents caused over 5,400 deaths and over 448,000 injuries in 2009. While the number of distracted driving deaths is down from 2008, Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood notes that the problem may be greater than the statistics let on.
