A & E ‘Intervention Show’ Chooses Miramar Recovery Again

(Free-Press-Release.com) February 25, 2011 -- (Laguna Beach, California – 03/22/2010) Miramar Addiction Treatment Center was selected by the A&E network to be featured, again, in its famous ‘Intervention’ show to treat another addicted patient.

The producers of the Arts and Entertainment network have selected Miramar Recovery to host yet another episode of the famous ‘Intervention’ show, which catalogues the intervention and subsequent treatment of those addicted to drugs and alcohol. The highly publicized show, premiered in 2005 and is currently in its eighth season,

The Miramar Recovery Treatment Center is most attractive to the show’s producers, due to the exclusive nature of the treatment environment. Miramar treats no more than 5 patients at any given time, in any of their treatment facilities. The facilities are very ‘high end’ in terms of location, features, design, and most importantly, treatment and adjunct services provided at its Chemical Addiction and Dual Diagnosis Treatment Centers .

A Miramar spokesperson stated, ‘we are delighted that the Intervention show producers are featuring our treatment center for another episode of the show, as we are able to provide the highest level of treatment services in the most comfortable environment.’

Miramar will be providing comprehensive treatment services, including chemical detoxification, for up to ninety days. Miramar will bear the total cost of treatment of the patient. ‘It is out pleasure to scholarship these patients who would not be able to afford treatment under other circumstances,’ stated the Miramar spokesperson.

During the filming, Miramar takes extraordinary precaution to protect the privacy of its other patients and staff. The Miramar spokesperson said, ‘discretion is a critical component of our treatment program and we take every measure possible to protect the privacy of clients and staff.’ As such, the client of the A&E program will never be filmed in the presence of other clients and/or unwilling staff.

Miramar has previously been featured on the MTV network, as well, as the featured facility for the premier episode of the ‘Gone Too Far’ show, which featured D.J. AM and catalogued the treatment process of drug and alcohol addicts.

The air date of the Intervention show episode is not yet established, but will be within a few months.
