Outdoor First Aid is a two-day (16 hour) course suitable for all NGB qualifications including SPA & ML. Basic lifesaving skills are taught including accident procedures and latest protocols. But the key difference between Outdoor First Aid and other first aid courses is that it focuses on the application of first aid techniques in a ‘far from help’ situation: it’s not quite to easy to pick up a ‘phone and call an ambulance when miles from anywhere with no mobile reception.
