A Goat, A Dog And A Tri-Pod Dog Together At Last

August 4, 2010

Check out this story about a goat, a dog, and a tri-pod. An interesting mix to say the least! Electric dog fence training has joined the 21st century and is now a viable dog training method.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) August 4, 2010 -- A dog and a goat were found wandering outside a wedding chapel, carefree and owner-free. This unlikely duo was taken in by the East Lake Pet Orphanage, which dubbed the goat Minelli and the dog Judy. Unfortunately, state law dictates that any stray livestock be held by the Sherriff’s Department for 18 days to give the owner a chance to find them. A sheriff’s deputy came and took the goat away, to the canine’s dismay.

The owner was found, but was unable to keep the dog and goat. The unlikely pair, whose real names are Echo and Mow, were joined by their third pal, Lucky, a three legged lab. Lewis Leiija, the animals’ former pet owner made arrangements “…for all of them to be adopted together, so they'll be happy." The three pals were happily reunited, but are now in search of a good home.

"Now we have a goat, a Dane, and a tripod dog, and it all depends who's got the right circumstances to keep these three together" says Roxanne Tucker with the East Lake Pet Orphanage. They have already received numerous calls about these affectionate friends.

So these three friends don’t run away again, the right home will include an effective dog containment system. The best wireless dog fences are extremely easy to set up and use; plus, they work for two dogs. The most technologically advanced wireless fences have a controller that alerts you if your dog has left the containment area. Plus, it doesn’t correct your dog when he returns home.

Electric dog fence training and an electric fence can be the difference between life and death for a dog, particularly in busy neighborhoods. With proper electric dog fence training, dogs are conditioned to respect the static corrections and stay within the roaming area.

Perfect for new owners, electric dog fence training develops the bond between pet and owner. Building a dog’s confidence is extremely important, since dogs that are fearful are likely to run away or bite.

Let’s hope these three unlikely friends can stay together and be adopted into one lucky home.
