A Guide to Cheap Android Tablets

February 27,2013

Android Tablets are the latest advancement of technology. But the technology has a fast pace and these tablets easily get old as newer and better versions of the Android Tablets are released.

You'd have experience a lot of people asking around about which Android Tablets are worth buying and which are a total miss. Looking at it with a serious perspective, it is not a bad question. The article that follows will help you steer through latest tablets that can be bought from last year. But there is always a new crop of such Android Tablets waiting for you around the corner so you have to keep yourselves updated.

Previous year, many Android Tablets running the Android Honeycomb were released. They might not run the latest operating systems now as the pace of the technology is ever increasing but they still are pretty decent enough. Some of the cheaper tablets were a total disappointment and it is strongly suggested to have a thorough knowledge about what you're bargaining for.

Have reasonable expectations if you want to buy cheaper or older Android tablets. If all you want is a touch screen that lets you read books easily, can play a good range of formats of music files and movies, then you can safely go for a last year model. It might not be capable of playing the latest applications and might not have a very high screen resolution or battery life, but it can be a good bargain for people who aren't very techno savvy and who want the Android Tablet for its simpler functions.

In any case, it's better to go for named brands. Samsung, Asus, Acer, Sony, Motorola, and Amazon.com have all a very respectable range of Android Tablet releases in the past year. There are also a lot of companies that make cheaper tablets that do not work really well so it's better not to buy a bogus tablet if you haven't heard of the company. But still, it isn't set in stone that all off-brand tablets are not good. A better way is to spend a little hands-off time on a tablet that doesn't belong to famous brand. Also, a few of the former tablets weren't made to have Android software and they might not have access to Google Play store. One way to confirm that is to ensure that it's written on the package that the tablet supports Android Market or Google Play store.

While buying an older or cheaper Android Tablet, do pay some attention to the device's size. One of the earlier tablets supporting Google designed Android were very heavy. Nowadays, due to a thankful development in technology, the tablets are much wider yet light weight. If you want to keep the tablet moving around with you, better buy a light weight tablet which are now-a-days luckily available.

Another important consideration is the accessories that might come with the Android Tablet or that can be easily gotten later on. For example, just make sure you can get a good pair of head-phones, a case that fits, a holder to keep the tablet like a book while reading etc. this might sound weird but it really helps in the selection of the tablet as the accessories that come with a gadget play a very crucial role when you're using the device.

Get your Cheap Tablets now and enjoy the luxuries that the new technology has to offer!
