With every step I take on a mountain trail, my senses grow keener to the environment around me and I travel further into a serenity that cannot be described with words. At the end of the trail, my child-like anticipation is satisfied with the brilliance of a newly discovered waterfall. As I strategically perch myself to take in the most beneficial view, a blanket of peace envelopes me and I can feel a smile grow from within. These escapes are truly priceless.

While these occurrences can be frightening and deadly, somehow, nature morphs catastrophic events into creations of beauty given time.
