A man and a female child died in an accident when a semi-truck hit their van from behind at Albuquerque.

Albuquerque, New Mexico, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) November 7, 2011 -- Two people have been killed and five others seriously injured when their van was hit from behind by a semi-truck on eastbound Interstate 40 just west of Albuquerque.

The reporters tells that a man and a female child were killed, the other five people in the van were airlifted to area hospitals after accident.

Bernalillo County Sheriff's Lt. Pat Charlton tells the station that the semi crushed the minivan to the rear seat.

The driver of the truck was also injured, but his injuries did not appear to be serious.
