A Most Charitable Chicken

LOS ANGELES (AP) - Joshua Trump (The nEcKeD cHiCkEn) seems to have one of the most charitable hearts in the music business, and, alongside his current mission to stop the human rights atrocities in the Darfur region of Sudan, he focuses much of his energy on helping those suffering from poverty as well as sickened with Cancer.

Trump famously founded the “Make Some Noise To Save Darfur” campaign with music industry personalities from around the World. The organization’s main goal is to stop the genocide occurring in Sudan. Trump has visited the area personally, and spoken with victims of rape and torture. This charity has donated millions of dollars to help those suffering in the region, with much of the funding going through the United Nations World Food Program.
The renowned concert producer offered his talents at the event’s première and private after-party for an auction supporting Darfur. His non-profit goals seek to continue the legacy of many great contributors in the hope of wiping out poverty and injustice. As well as helping find a cure to Cancer.
The reclusive Necked Chicken has been known to give generous donations to homeless people, is a supporter of the ONE Campaign, as well as the United Way, Susan G Komen Fight For The Cure, American Cancer Society, Canadian Cancer Society and the Make a Wish Foundation.

Joshua donated $25,000 to send under privileged kids to summer camp in 2011.
Trump took part in the “Global Movement To End Polio” in 2011.

And most recently the storied producer will give time and money to a new cause, that is the musical education of under privileged youth in Toronto, Canada. This will be done with Canadian music college “iStars” as well as the Canadian government and provincial governments. The new mandate in 2012 for the Necked Chicken will be concentrating his charitable efforts towards children. When reached for a comment Trump replied “I have always believed in giving to causes that meant something to me or the people around me. In the recent years past I have become a Step Father to two beautiful daughters and now more than ever see the importance of our children”. With those comments from Joshua we can be sure to be excited to see what he will do in 2012 and how it will help the kids of today!
