Most of the awards given in other lawsuits have gone to the lawyers, leaving very little to the victims. Often, the plaintiffs, who may have lost everything in a banking scam, end up with only hundreds of dollars. Those lawsuits raise hopes and then crush the victims' hopes again, further injuring them emotionally and physically. With this lawsuit, the victims finally get the compensation they deserve.

Lawsuits against big banks have also been failures because they˜re not punitive. Those settlement amounts were nothing compared to the banks assets.
