A NOTE ON THE ARTS: PROVERSE AS WE LIVETH

(Free-Press-Release.com) November 24, 2009 -- Beloved this poem and verse in ProVerse was motivated by a discussion of the movie “Precious.” There are many ways to skin and capture a rabbit. The prize is the gravy and the pot. However many roam throughout the countryside. Meanwhile those that believed in something to die for stood up. Some recited verse some spoke words in poetry. Others came to the stage and screen as thespians galore. Human stories were told and many sad commentaries transpired.

There were different and diverse people
that made up the earth. There were also

more than one side to every story. Many
debates were held and many philosophers,

Became sore vexed as did David as he
prayed about the persecution from his enemies.
Some also carried the martyrs cross and some
sacrificed the right to live for Truth.

Meanwhile in the arts the critics often took
off the killing gloves. Artistic expression thus
became a sounding board for many causes
social, political, economic and those that,

Had great impact on human welfare. Here
was a way of freedom of expression seldom

seen. The artists came together sharing talent
and intellect.

The stage was non-threatening except for
talent. The audience also felt at ease as they
co-existed with the pleas for human kindness
and love for all that liveth.

Here the dreamers were at home. They enjoyed
every scene and every line posted in prose and
verse. There was also a man who also called out
songs in ProVerse.

Who was he? Did he also dream a real dream of
Heaven? All through the Psalms David cried and
pleaded for self and for his enemies. Will some

song writers of today cry out like David?

The Lord so graciously heard David as he created
songs and much ProVerse. The Lord still will
hear our cry as there is Power and Miracles in
prayer. Somebody shout Hallelujah.
