A Queen’s visit to Home and Garden Show

(Free-Press-Release.com) October 5, 2009 -- The Home and Garden Show at Fitches Creek is an annual event showcasing the best of Antigua and Barbuda such as plants, art, recycling methods, Insurance companies, chocolate delicacies and IT. This event is visited by both young and old. This year, one of the Homecoming queen contestants graced her presence at this successful event.
Nykarra Powell was situated at the Search Antigua booth where both owners of Search Antigua Inc were very pleased to see this young contestant engage in the local events such as this one.

“In light to of the global economic downturn, it is very difficult for any company to assist in large monetary contributions for any Event,” Ellen Deboeck, Search Antigua’s Marketing Director, says. “What we can do, however, is to support the younger generation in their aspirations and life goals. For example, these five contestants for the Homecoming Queen Pageant are a role model for many in Antigua and Barbuda and we can help them in building up their confidence, knowledge and so much more.” Ellen Deboeck continues.

The 2009 Homecoming Queen Pageant will be held on Saturday 31 Oct. at the Dean William Lake Cathedral Cultural Center – formerly the Cathedral Cultural Center. Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door and those in attendance will be vying for a secret door prize.
