With each day creeping closer to the Santa Clarita-based charity ride and family event, registration and exposure has been growing rapidly. Already a tribute to one of the United States' top professional riders, many other pro riders are making the event a target for their year-end miles.

Confirmed to date are top names including Tejay van Garderen, Tony Cruz, Mari holen, Tinker Juarez, Paul Amey, Eric Bennett and Amber Neben. Yesterday a Twitter post from Ina-Yoko Teutenberg, a top world-ranked professional since 2001. to George Hincapie mentioned her desire to join the ride. White expects that other professional and top amateur riders may also be confirmed prior to the event start.

"The support from everyone, professional to weekend rider as well as our community at large, has been tremendous. It is quite a testiment to the draw of George Hincapie, the continued growth of road riding and racing as well as people's desire to help out those in need, as we're doing with our charity partners Children's Hospital Los Angeles and Boys & Girls Club of Santa Clarita".

The unique event December 31 anchored at Central Park on Bouquet Canyon Road will feature three rides ranging from 30 to 100 miles, a 5k family walk and 5k kids' ride as well as an impressive exposition and post-ride feast.
