In China, ethylenediamines has been widely used in the production of resin, pesticide, pharmaceuticals, etc. At present, Chinas ethylenediamines products are still in short supply and the demand increases year by year.

Even if it has started production at the end of 1980s, Chinas ethylenediamines are still in small-scale industrialized production (capacity>=10,000t/a) before 2010. However, in November 2010, Jiangxi Hurricanes 10,000 t/a ethylenediamine project is put into commercial production, which will greatly improve the situation that domestic ethylenediamine demand relies on import heavily.
