In 2010, the Ukrainian construction industry recorded growth of 15.2%, increasing in value from US$4.7 billion in 2009 to US$5.4 billion in 2010, due to improved economic conditions, including low interest rates and the stability of Ukrainian hryvnya. All construction markets recorded growth in value terms in 2010, following a poor performance in 2009. However, due to a 62.1% decline in 2009, the Ukrainian construction industry registered an overall CARC of -7.38% over the review period.
