AARON D. SPEARS RECEIVES 2012 NAACP IMAGE AWARD NOMINATION

Spears has been nominated for Outstanding Actor in a Daytime Drama Series (NAACP Image Award) for his portrayal as Justin Barber on CBS' The Bold and the Beautiful. Spears joined the cast of B&B in September of 2009. "We are elated by his nomination," said Executive Producer and Head Writer Bradley P. Bell. "He has delivered powerful performances in pivotal story arcs. I am proud that he is a part of The Bold and the Beautiful family."

Although he's a newcomer to daytime TV, Spears has appeared in major motion pictures Babel and I Love You Man and independent films such as Blue Hill Avenue and The Mannsfield 12. He has guest starred on hit shows such as Castle, NCIS, Boston Legal, Criminal Minds, CSI: Miami and Bones. His latest project, Back Then, is scheduled for release this year.
