Ability Commerce Releases Streamlined One-Click Checkout for Ability SmartSite™
Delray Beach, FL, February 3, 2010 – A revamped one-click checkout process highlights Ability Commerce’s latest version of their web development tool, Ability SmartSite 8.01, which also contains new content productivity tools and updated Google Analytics integrations.
“As our clients monitor orders after upgrading to the new checkout process, their feedback has been even more positive than we anticipated,“ said Diane Buzzeo, Ability Commerce CEO. “It’s been very gratifying to see real lifts in conversion rates on the clients’ web sites.”
The improved checkout integrates previous robust capabilities as well, providing a comprehensive cart solution encompassing global commerce needs like multi-currency displays, electronic gift-card redemption, and third-party PayPal and Google Checkout integrations. Clients can customize their display to ensure that their own shoppers experience a checkout process consistent with the rest of their site.
Technical behind-the-scenes enhancements to this latest version of the ecommerce web site management tool include an upgrade to embedded support for the latest Google Analytics code version, and compatibility testing for IIS7 standards.
“By keeping abreast with the latest technology, our clients take advantage of cutting edge applications as they appear in the marketplace,” explains Ability Commerce web development manager Charla Kunkel. “For example, our clients can take advantage of IIS7 capabilities to automatically recognize mobile device requests and redirect users to a mobile-optimized version of their site and don’t have to worry whether their sites are compatible.”
